Hi there, I’m Kristie. I’m the founder & creator behind Westward Studio. I created Westward Studio after working briefly for a marketing agency where I felt like there just wasn’t enough creativity & collaboration between client and agency. I wanted to fix that, so I set out into new territory (hint: that’s where Westward came from). Besides business as usual, I’m fond of hitting the slopes, playing tennis, going camping, and taking up allll the hobbies. I’m a creative junky, so you might find me spewing on about music, movies, books, and anything else I can fuel my creativity from.
Howdy! I’m Spencer Duclos. I was born and raised in Reno, NV, right at the doorstep of the Sierra Nevada. The mountains and the desert have always been at the foundation of my creativity. For as long as I can remember I always had some kind of camera in my hand whether it was documenting daily life or working on a passion project. I decided to take the leap of faith and put my all into my passion - Basin//Visual was born. I try to keep the mentality of always being a student of the craft and honing in my skills every chance I get. When I’m not behind the camera for work, I’m often behind the camera for play - in my free time I can be found outside in the places that fuel my creativity hitting the slopes, dirt-bike riding, mountain-climbing, and camping.
Carla is a visual designer from Buenos Aires, Argentina but lives in Reno. She specializes in digital design, with a focus on brand, interaction, UI design, and design systems. Carla’s purpose is to use the creative tools she’s learned over the years to create meaningful designs. She is very intentional about her work: “I love designing beautiful brands, experimenting with color and typography, and keeping things simple, optimistic, and fun. My biggest inspiration comes from nature, travel, and art & crafts. In my free time, you can find me trying out new coffee shops, starting new creative endeavors (currently, it’s ceramics!), and playing with my two baby kittens.”
